About this sample
Illustrative sample. The SKUs, products, documents and findings are invented to show the format of a real report. This is not client work, not a certificate or filing, and not an authoritative document.
Gap report
Each SKU is checked against its certificate and test reports. Each finding names the source page and the next step, so gaps are flagged before your broker files. This sample shows one row for each status.

Status definitions
Every SKU in a gap report has exactly one of these statuses.
- Complete
- Every certificate field in the agreed review scope is present and consistent with the source documents you supplied. It is not regulatory approval, a compliance determination or a guarantee that an entry will clear.
- Waiting
- A document or answer is due from a supplier or lab. The report notes who was asked.
- Needs you
- A decision only the certifier can make, such as which rules to certify to.
- Blocked
- The record cannot proceed as documented, for example a test that predates a production change.
